A 7-year-old boy drowned and two other boys were rescued after an incident at Lake Tobesofkee in Bibb County over the weekend. The boys, ages 7, 8, and 10, went under the water on Friday afternoon, prompting a response from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Macon-Bibb County Fire Department, and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. The 8-year-old is in critical but stable condition, while the 10-year-old is stable; the 7-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
