JaQuan Brooks, 25, and Davonte Fore, 26, were convicted of the 2021 murder of 25-year-old Skyler Gilmore in DeKalb County, according to the District Attorney's Office. Gilmore was shot after being summoned to her apartment complex on June 4, 2021, and the killing was ordered by a local gang after they discovered she was involved with another gang member. While Brooks was taken into custody following the verdicts, Fore remains at large after failing to return to court, and authorities are seeking information on his whereabouts.
