Atlanta rapper Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Williams, will not face prison time for a social media post that prosecutors argued threatened a witness in his gang trial. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Paige Reese Whitaker ruled that the post did not violate his probation but advised him to exercise caution in the future. The decision follows a request from Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to revoke Williams' probation after he reposted a photo of an investigator with a derogatory caption, which allegedly led to online threats against the investigator.
