Young Thug's Plea Deal Shakes Up Historic Trial as Jurors Reveal Lack of Evidence Against Rapper

On Halloween night, Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Williams, pleaded guilty to gang, drug, and gun charges, which jurors later indicated may have led to a different outcome had he not done so. The trial, the longest in Georgia history, concluded with two defendants acquitted of serious charges, while Young Thug received a sentence of 15 years probation and a decade-long ban from Atlanta. Jurors expressed that the prosecution did not provide sufficient evidence to convict him, particularly regarding the alleged gang activities of "Young Slime Life."
