19 Year Old Fatally Shot Near Busy Gwinnett County Bank Investigation Underway

A 19-year-old man, identified as Xavier Tyler Stephens, was fatally shot near a bank at the intersection of Shackleford Road and Steve Reynolds Boulevard in Gwinnett County shortly after midnight on Friday. Gwinnett police responded to the scene around 1 a.m. and found Stephens with at least one gunshot wound; he was transported to a hospital but did not survive. The motive for the shooting remains under investigation, and authorities are seeking information from the public.
