Josephine Hardin, an Atlanta attorney and Emory University School of Law graduate, is presumed dead following severe flooding in central Texas over the July Fourth holiday. Hardin and her mother, Alyson, were visiting family when the flooding occurred, resulting in their deaths among approximately 120 fatalities in the region. The Huff Powell Bailey law firm, where Hardin worked, described her as a smart and quirky individual who made significant contributions to the legal community and was actively involved in volunteer work.
