Javon Brown, a 48-year-old pipe fitter from southwest Atlanta, died from cardiac arrest on January 17 after confronting young men breaking into his truck outside his home on King George Lane. After he yelled at the suspects, one of them shot at him, prompting Brown to return fire before he collapsed inside his house.
