Atlanta Woman Arrested in Connection with Gruesome Murder of Her Son Found in Michigan Grave

Authorities believe Brandee Pierce, 41, who was arrested in metro Atlanta, is responsible for the death of her 9-year-old son, Zemar King III, whose body was discovered in a shallow grave in Michigan. Investigators allege that Pierce smothered her son in October and buried him in her backyard before moving to Georgia, where she faced multiple arrests, including one for allegedly endangering her 3-year-old son. Pierce is currently in Cobb County jail, and Detroit authorities plan to request her extradition to face charges, including first-degree murder.
