Authorities Rescue 136 Neglected Dogs from Suspected Puppy Mill in Southeast Georgia

On Wednesday, state agents executed a search warrant at a property in Pierce County, southeast Georgia, seizing 136 dogs from a suspected puppy mill. The Atlanta Humane Society and other rescue groups are assisting the Georgia Department of Agriculture in providing veterinary care for the dogs, many of which were small breeds and found in poor conditions. While the investigation continues, state officials have not confirmed any arrests or potential charges against the kennel owner.
