Camden County Shooting Rampage Leaves Two Injured and Suspect in Police Custody

On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, Camden County deputies shot 55-year-old Rodney Rauls Roundtree after he allegedly went on a shooting rampage near I-95, injuring two men and damaging several vehicles. The incident began when Roundtree shot a man during an argument at a home on Kinlaw Road, then continued firing at multiple people and a vehicle as he walked down the street. When law enforcement arrived, Roundtree shot at the officers, who returned fire and injured him; all three individuals involved were taken to the hospital, and Roundtree is expected to face multiple charges.
