Daycare Employee Arrested After Toddler Tests Positive for THC in Acworth Incident
An employee at Laugh and Learn Day Care in Acworth was arrested after a 20-month-old child in her care tested positive for THC following hospitalization for unusual lethargy on February 18. Zyraina Stanice Fu’cia, 24, is accused of allowing the child to consume a THC product from her pocket and faces charges of second-degree cruelty to children and reckless conduct. The daycare has faced multiple fines in 2024 for previous incidents of inappropriate disciplinary actions, and the investigation into this case is ongoing.
