In an email, Willis encouraged Love to disregard detractors and assured her that her position was secure, emphasizing the importance of their work in ensuring community safety. The trial, which began jury selection in January 2023, is the longest in Georgia history, and Love is expected to call approximately 100 more witnesses before concluding the state's case.
