Fulton County Judge Aims to Expedite Trials for 61 Defendants in Atlanta Public Safety Training Center Case

A Fulton County judge is working to expedite the trial process for over 60 defendants charged with racketeering related to their protests against the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center. Superior Court Judge Kevin Farmer has ordered each defendant to file individual motions by May 30 and plans to conduct at least 12 separate trials, with the first group of defendants already identified. The case, which has been delayed for more than two years, continues to impact the lives of the defendants, with some alleging that the charges have unfairly labeled them as criminals for their opposition to the training facility.
