Gwinnett County Soldier Among Victims in Tragic Helicopter and Passenger Jet Collision at Reagan National Airport

Ryan O'Hara, a 2014 graduate of Parkview High School in Gwinnett County, was one of three soldiers killed in a midair collision between a U.S. Army helicopter and an American Airlines passenger jet at Ronald Reagan National Airport on Wednesday night. O'Hara, a staff sergeant in the Army and a dedicated family man, leaves behind a wife and a 1-year-old son. The incident, which resulted in the deaths of all 67 people aboard both aircraft, is under investigation by federal officials.
