Man Arrested Hours After Fatal Shooting at Atlanta Apartment Complex Linked to Trespassing Incident

A man identified as Malik Jones, 29, was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at the Helios apartment complex in northeast Atlanta on Saturday morning. Officers found a deceased man with multiple gunshot wounds at the scene and later apprehended Jones at a nearby CVS store, where they also recovered a possible firearm linked to the homicide. Jones has been charged with murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and he is currently being held without bond at the Fulton County Jail.
