Remembering Fallen Heroes: Georgia Trooper Jimmy Cenescar Honored at Paulding County High School After Tragic Line of Duty Deaths

Georgia state trooper Jimmy Cenescar was killed in January 2024 during a pursuit, and just weeks later, Trooper First Class Chase Redner, who investigated Cenescar's crash, was also killed by a vehicle while responding to another incident. In honor of Cenescar, Paulding County High School is displaying his uniform, as Principal Andy Dorsey emphasized the importance of keeping his memory alive within the community. Cenescar, a 2015 graduate and former Atlanta police officer, was pursuing a degree in criminal justice at the time of his death, while the driver responsible for the crash that killed him has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
