Seven Suspects Arrested in Atlanta Shooting That Killed Two 13-Year-Old Boys Linked to Gang Dispute

Two men, Ali Caldwell, 33, and Tradon Crawford, 32, were arrested on charges including murder and gang-related offenses in connection with a July 2024 shooting in Atlanta that resulted in the deaths of two 13-year-old boys, Lamon Freeman and Jakody Davis. They join five other suspects already in custody, all linked to a gang dispute stemming from a rapper's music video shoot in rival territory, as revealed by Atlanta police during a news conference on Wednesday. The investigation, which involved extensive wiretapping and collaboration with the FBI, is ongoing, with police emphasizing the senseless nature of the violence that led to the boys' deaths.
