On August 8, a witness's harrowing 911 call detailed the chaos as a gunman opened fire near the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, fatally wounding DeKalb County police Officer David Rose. The call, lasting over eight minutes, captured the frantic moments as the witness reported the ongoing gunfire and warned emergency responders about the dangers they faced.
