In 2024, five Georgia law enforcement officers have tragically died in the line of duty. Notable incidents include the shooting death of Paulding County Deputy Brandon Cunningham, 30, while responding to a domestic violence call, and the fatal crash of Trooper Jimmy Cenescar, 28, while pursuing a motorcyclist in Gwinnett County.
