The U.S. Veterans Affairs Department has placed VA Augusta Health Care System Acting Director Oscar Rodriguez on administrative leave due to an investigation into the leadership climate at the facility. This marks the second leadership change in less than three months, following the reassignment of former director Robin Jackson and another official amid concerns about workplace culture. Lovetta Ford, the former deputy director of the Atlanta VA, has been appointed as the new acting director, as the Augusta facility continues to address issues highlighted in a recent report that described a "culture of fear" among its leadership.
