Woman Charged with Felony Murder in Cold Case of Gwinnett County Stabbing After Five Years
Carmen Marie Hunt, 50, has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault in connection with the 2019 stabbing death of 61-year-old Ray Neal in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County. Neal was discovered dead in his home after concerns from his sister, and an autopsy later determined his death was a homicide. The case was reopened in 2024 after a family member implicated Hunt, who was already in jail on unrelated stabbing charges, leading to her arrest in connection with Neal's death.
