Atlanta rapper Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Williams, will receive nearly $150,000 in cash, luxury vehicles, and jewelry that were seized during his 2022 arrest on gang and racketeering charges. A Fulton County judge ruled that the state failed to conduct a civil forfeiture hearing within the required 60-day timeframe, leading to the dismissal of the forfeiture case. Williams, who was sentenced to 15 years of probation after pleading guilty to gang-related charges, will not receive firearms or certain jewelry deemed gang-related.
