An Atlanta defense attorney, Nicole Fegan, faces twelve charges, including drug trafficking and violating the Georgia Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, after Fulton County prosecutors accused her of smuggling drugs to a client and obstructing a shooting investigation. Fegan represented Tenquarius Mender, who is involved in the "Young Slime Life" gang trial, and is alleged to have provided him contraband while in custody. Fegan's attorney described the indictment as a travesty, asserting her commitment to her client during the trial and noting that she has no prior disciplinary issues with the State Bar of Georgia.
