Researchers have initiated a three-year study to investigate the long-term health impacts on residents affected by the recent BioLab explosion in Rockdale County. The Post-Fire Public Health Recovery Project, a collaboration between Morehouse School of Medicine and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, aims to address the unknown long-term health implications following the incident, which led to the evacuation of 17,000 people and significant community disruption. The first year will focus on data collection and support for impacted residents, with more information to be shared at a community forum on Monday at The Movement Church in Conyers.
