The Fulton County District Attorney's Office has dropped the case against Ladavious Dashawn McNair, a Clark Atlanta University graduate student, who was indicted on multiple charges related to a road rage shooting in 2023. The decision came after the victim expressed uncertainty about McNair's identification as the shooter, leading to a dismissal with prejudice by Judge Kimberly M. Esmond Adams. McNair, who maintained his innocence and had alibi evidence from classmates, was released from jail after a month of legal proceedings.
