A Covington man, 23-year-old Mark Antonio White, was sentenced to life in prison plus five years without parole after being convicted of the murder and armed robbery of Sandy Springs resident Garcia Danielle Gaddis, who was lured through an online dating app. Gaddis was found shot to death in his vehicle in Gwinnett County on October 24, 2021, just three days after he went missing. Prosecutors revealed that Gaddis had been contacted by White on the Tagged dating app and was last seen picking him up before the fatal incident.
