Coweta County Man Released on Signature Bond Charged with Murder Days Later Under New Georgia Law
Terry Lee Rose III, a 22-year-old Coweta County man, was initially charged with drug possession and public indecency but was released from jail on a signature bond, despite a new Georgia law requiring cash bail for such offenses. Just three days later, he was arrested again for allegedly murdering 28-year-old Jonathan Marquez Jackson behind a Dollar General store in Newnan. Rose is now being held without bond as he faces charges of murder and tampering with evidence.
