Former Young Slime Life Defendant Shannon Jackson Released on Probation After Long Gang Trial

On Tuesday, Shannon Jackson, also known as Shannon Stillwell, was sentenced to probation and banished from metro Atlanta for five years following his acquittal in the "Young Slime Life" gang trial. Jackson, who has been in jail since March 2022, entered pleas on multiple charges and was encouraged by Judge Belinda Edwards to take advantage of his second chance. Meanwhile, co-defendant Deamonte Kendrick remains in custody as the second YSL trial is set to begin on February 24, 2024, with fewer defendants and a different lead prosecutor.
