Lanier Christian Academy Coach Arrested for Inappropriate Photos of Minors
Authorities are investigating Joel Ernest Lulinski, a 52-year-old physical education teacher and football coach at Lanier Christian Academy in Flowery Branch, Georgia. The investigation began after a student reported suspicions of inappropriate behavior on April 2. Lulinski is facing 27 felony charges related to the use of a device to film under or through individuals' clothing, involving multiple victims, all of whom are girls under the age of 16. Over a 12-day period, investigators found that Lulinski had used his cellphone to take inappropriate photos and videos of minor children during normal school activities. He was arrested on Thursday following questioning at the Hall County sheriff's office and is currently held at the Hall County jail on a $175,500 bond. The case has raised significant concerns within the community, prompting the Atlanta Journal-Constitution to seek further information from the academy regarding Lulinski's employment history. A woman associated with Lulinski's family declined to comment on the situation. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to gather evidence.
