Retired Fulton County Deputy Shot in Southwest Atlanta Investigation Underway

A retired deputy from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office was shot on Monday in southwest Atlanta on Lee Street around 5 p.m. The deputy was hospitalized with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called to assist with the ongoing investigation.
