Truck Driver Killed in Hit-and-Run Incident on I-75 North in Marietta at Early Morning Hours

A truck driver was killed in a hit-and-run crash on I-75 North in Marietta early Wednesday, around 2:30 a.m. The incident occurred near South Marietta Parkway when two tractor-trailers collided, and as the drivers exited their vehicles, one was struck and killed by a passing motorist who did not stop. Marietta police are investigating the incident and have not yet released the name of the deceased driver.
