On Tuesday, deputies from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office shot and killed two individuals while serving a felony arrest warrant for a sex offender in Banks County. The incident occurred at a home on Cedar Drive around 9:30 a.m., with the shooting taking place shortly after deputies entered the residence at 11 a.m. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is conducting an independent investigation, and the names of the deceased have not been released.
