Fatal Stabbing at Atlanta Transitional Home Raises Safety Concerns Again
A 36-year-old man, Frederick L. Daniel, was fatally stabbed at the Phoenix House transitional home in southwest Atlanta on Monday, marking the second such incident at the facility designed for formerly homeless individuals with mental illness. Atlanta police responded to the scene around 4:45 p.m. and found Daniel had been stabbed multiple times; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
