Marietta Liquor Store Manager Arrested After Bizarre Armed Robbery Incident Unfolds on Sunday Night
On a Sunday night in Marietta, police responded to a call from Ace Liquors regarding a customer who had previously shoplifted. After issuing a criminal trespass warning, officers later returned to the store to arrest the manager, 31-year-old Shivamkumar Patel, and another man, 25-year-old Anil Yaganti, after a customer reported being held at gunpoint and having his vehicle searched. Surveillance video corroborated the customer's account, leading to charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault, kidnapping, and other offenses against Patel and Yaganti.
